| 1. | To encourage employees of agencies, schools, and enterprises affiliated with the Taoyuan City Government to actively participate in Hakka language proficiency certification, this bureau has amended certain provisions of the "Taoyuan City Government's Measures for Encouraging Employees of Affiliated Agencies, Schools, and Enterprises to Improve Hakka Language Proficiency." It now includes granting half a day of compensatory leave for taking the basic level certification exam, and awarding a NT$500 gift voucher and a commendation for passing the basic level certification. These changes will take effect on January 1, 2025. |
| 2. | Those applying for compensatory leave based on the aforementioned measures can submit their applications to their respective agencies, schools, or enterprises from now until December 15, 2025, by providing a copy of the certificate of qualification, a receipt, and an affidavit. The agencies, schools, and enterprises should then submit these applications to this bureau by January 15, 2026. |
