| Subject: | Forwarding the "Cultivating Taiwanese Hokkien Families Program" Challenge and Reward Guidelines for 2026, please assist in publicizing and promoting. Thank you. |
| Details: |
| 1. | In accordance with the letter from the Taoyuan City Government dated November 27, 2025, Ref. No. 1140343822. |
| 2. | The Ministry of Culture launched the "Cultivating Taiwanese Hokkien Families Program" in November 2024, aiming to enhance national awareness of Taiwanese Hokkien inheritance and encourage family members to participate together in Taiwanese Hokkien learning and cultural activities. The program is divided into two categories: "Taiwanese Hokkien Learning Families" and "Taiwanese Hokkien Cultural Families," and provides rewards through course participation, activity point accumulation, and outcome videos. All relevant review processes are handled by the "Taiwanese Hokkien Families Membership Platform" to promote the daily use of Taiwanese Hokkien within families and communities. |
| 3. | In response to social changes such as later marriages, declining birth rates, and diverse family structures, and considering the language learning needs of younger generations and single individuals, the Ministry of Culture has adjusted the registration categories starting from 2026. It now allows individuals aged 18 and above to form teams freely for registration, expanding the scope of language co-learning among friends, peers, and communities. The original recruitment period restrictions have been removed, and the "Challenge and Reward Guidelines for 2026" have been established for compliance. |
| 4. | Attached is one copy of the aforementioned guidelines. We kindly request your school to assist in publicizing and promoting them. |
