| 1. | In accordance with the DOESE's letter dated December 18, 114, Ref. No. 臺教國署國字第1140130807. |
| 2. | To enhance teaching exchange and experience sharing between schools in general areas and remote areas, the DOESE has established the aforementioned program to encourage outstanding full-time teachers from general areas to visit remote schools, thereby improving the inheritance of teaching experience and educational innovation in remote areas. |
| 3. | A summary of the aforementioned program is as follows (details in the attachment): |
| (1) | Program Period: From August 1, 115 to July 31, 116. Applications for the 115 Academic Year "Visiting Teacher Program" are accepted starting from today. |
| (2) | Eligibility for Visiting Teacher Application: |
| 1. | Full-time teachers currently employed in general areas (including schools that are neither mountainous nor urban, and national schools) with a total of 6 or more years of full-time teaching experience, or retired full-time teachers from public elementary and secondary schools. |
| 2. | Those who meet the above conditions and satisfy one of the following criteria may apply: |
| (1) | Has won awards in national, municipal, county/city government, or private organization competitions related to curriculum and teaching, or has made outstanding contributions to the promotion of curriculum and teaching. Examples include the Teacher Education Excellence Award, SUPER/POWER Teacher Award, Special Outstanding Teacher Award, Reading Cornerstone Award, Reading Teacher Award, and other curriculum and teaching competition awards or outstanding contributions in related work. |
| (2) | Has served as a consultant for the National Elementary and Secondary Education Central Guidance Group or Local Guidance Group for 2 or more years, with more than 3 on-site guidance experiences. |
| (3) | Possesses educational philosophy and passion, has concrete and outstanding teaching achievements, and is recommended by the municipal or county/city government. |
| (3) | Awards and Subsidies: |
| 1. | Visiting Teacher: |
| (1) | Subsidy for transportation expenses. |
| (2) | For those who have served continuously for 2 academic years and have been evaluated as outstanding, a subsidy for overseas school visits may be provided. Those who have already received one subsidy for an overseas school visit and continue to serve for another academic year (totaling 3 consecutive academic years) and are evaluated as outstanding may be granted official leave and a second subsidy for overseas school visits, with the subsidy amount halved. |
