Description:

1. The GEPT Elementary Listening and Reading test is equivalent to Level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Passing this test allows you to apply for a "Certificate of Completion." You can later take the Speaking and Writing tests (upon passing, a "Certificate of Four Skills" will be issued), or proceed to the GEPT Intermediate and Advanced levels, which are recognized for university admissions and course exemptions.

2. Scores from this test are considered for the excess score ranking in the 12-year basic education free admission, bonus points in the joint free admission for five-year junior colleges, and selection admissions for four-year universities and junior colleges. It can also be uploaded to the Ministry of Education's learning portfolio or used as a warm-up exercise before major exams.

3. Registration for the "Elementary Listening and Reading" test on June 2, 2019, is now open. The center also offers special testing services for students to take exams on campus. Your school can also use the score reports provided by the center after the exam to understand students' learning outcomes and use them as a reference for campus language policies or curriculum planning.
