Regarding the "2019 Kaohsiung Education Festival" organized by the Kaohsiung City Government Education Bureau, please promote this to your school and encourage teachers, students, and parents to register and participate. Please be informed.

Description:
I. In accordance with Kaohsiung City Government Education Bureau's letter No. Gaoshi Jiao Gao Zi Di 10832185400 dated April 8, 108.
II. In 106, the Kaohsiung City Government Education Bureau took the lead in holding the first Curriculum Expo nationwide. In 107, it expanded its participation to all educational stages, joining hands with K-12 schools, community colleges, and international education, attracting 3,000 teachers, students, and parents from across the country. In 108, the Curriculum Expo enters its third year. In addition to continuing the enthusiasm of teachers and the participation of parents from the previous two years, it will focus more on students' learning performance, igniting the perpetual fire for students' learning through mutual learning and exchange between teachers, parents, and students.
III. The main contents of the aforementioned plan are summarized as follows:
(I) K-12 School Master Teachers' Open Classes: From Monday, April 22, 108, to Friday, May 24, 108, outstanding teaching teachers from various regions will be invited to Kaohsiung City to conduct open classes and curriculum exchanges.
(II) K-12 School Teachers' Open Classes: From Monday, April 22, 108, to Friday, May 24, 108, teachers from K-12 schools in Kaohsiung City (including schools under the Ministry) will open their classrooms and conduct open observation and discussion classes through curriculum co-preparation communities.
(III) K-12 School Principals' Open Classes: From Monday, April 22, 108, to Friday, May 24, 108, principals from K-12 schools in Kaohsiung City (including schools under the Ministry) will conduct open observation and discussion classes through same-school or cross-school curriculum co-preparation communities.
(IV) Flipping the New Curriculum and Adaptive Counseling: On Friday, April 26, 108, through lectures and curriculum sharing, junior high school counselors from Kaohsiung City will be invited to exchange and discuss the characteristic development and curriculum planning of senior high vocational schools.
(V) 2019 Flipping Kaohsiung Education Festival Conference: From Saturday, April 27, 108, to Sunday, April 28, 108, an education forum will be held, and K-12 schools will be invited to organize static exhibitions of characteristic curricula and preliminary school results, dynamic lesson sharing, experiential courses, and parent dialogues.
(VI) "Island Collective Memory" Triennial Exhibition - Seeing the Truth: From Friday, May 3, 108, to Saturday, May 4, 108, teachers from participating schools will be invited to share their curricula to enhance curriculum exchange and promote curriculum design modules, helping more schools develop unique island content.
(VII) "I Am the Future of the City" Protagonist Forum: On Saturday, May 25, 108, K-12 students will be arranged to present their expectations for a better city or educational environment through presentations or short talks.
(VIII) "Learning Market" My Learning Power: On Saturday, May 25, 108, through a market format, vocational schools will be invited to showcase their professional fields and junior high school craft masters will present their learning journeys through product displays and interactions.
(IX) First Annual Conference on Inquiry and Practice in Natural Sciences: On Sunday, April 21, 108, through master lectures, short curriculum talks, and experiential courses, a platform will be provided for teachers and parents nationwide interested in inquiry and practice to exchange ideas and stimulate more teaching momentum and curriculum modules.
(X) Our Competency Path ~ Teaching and Learning Series Workshops: From Thursday, April 25, 108, to Friday, April 26, 108, workshops will be held to enhance teachers' curriculum design capabilities and broaden their understanding of the new curriculum map through sharing, truly implementing student-centered education.
IV. This Bureau agrees to grant public (business) leave registration to teachers from public schools participating in the aforementioned activities, provided that their teaching duties are self-managed. Private schools should handle this matter according to their own authority.
V. Attached is one copy of the implementation plan for the aforementioned activities.
