Regarding the Ministry of Education's "2019 Training Program for Core Competencies of Leaders (Lecturers) of Professional Learning Communities for Primary and Secondary School Teachers," please be informed.

Description:
1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. Tai Shi San Zi No. 1080047431 dated April 2, 2019.
2. The 2019 Teacher Professional Learning Community Convenor Training includes compulsory and elective courses. Compulsory courses focus on leadership, dialogue models, and skills for teacher community operations. Elective courses provide professional development for different domains in elementary and junior high schools, aiming to strengthen the momentum of teacher professional learning communities. This project is organized into 6 domains (details in the attached plan).
3. The aforementioned training plan includes trainer training and convenor training, with the following key points:
(1) Northern Region Training Time and Location: Saturday, May 11, 2019, at the University of Taipei.
(2) Trainer training course is 1 day, totaling 6 hours, divided into concept explanation and trial lecture; Convenor training course is half a day, totaling 3 hours.
(3) Those who fully participate in the training and complete the trial lecture will be recommended by the Ministry of Education as trainers for the Teacher Professional Learning Community Convenor Course; those who do not fully participate or fail the trial lecture will be issued partial training hours by the organizing unit.
(4) Recommended teachers for training must meet one of the following criteria:
1. Have served as a community convenor and possess qualifications as a trainer for professional feedback talent at the intermediate level or above.
2. Have served as a member of the National Education Guidance Group, a teacher in a local guidance team, or an outstanding teacher in any county or city (super teacher, mentor teacher).
3. Have received the Teacher of the Year Award, the Teaching Excellence Award, or any teaching award from a county/city government or a national organization.
4. Have served as a professional learning community convenor or participated in a community, and have been recommended by the education bureau (department) of a county/city government as a teacher or principal.
4. Teachers who meet the above qualifications and are willing to serve as Teacher Professional Learning Community Convenors (Trainers) are requested to complete the registration form (as attached) and mail it to Ms. Chang Yen-fen, candidate principal in the Elementary Education Section of this Bureau, by Friday, April 19, 2019.
