Description:
I. In accordance with the letter from National Taichung University of Education, No. 1084060325, dated June 6, 2019.
II. This workshop is supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology's special project - "Development, Assessment, and Promotion of High School Curriculum Modules for Climate Change and Forest Ecology in Taiwan" (105-2511-S-142-015-MY3). We hope to promote climate change education at the junior and senior high school levels, and therefore, we are organizing the aforementioned workshop.
III. Information regarding the Taipei workshop is as follows:
(I) Workshop Date and Location: Monday, July 29, 2019, at UPlace Shared Space (Professional Classroom, 2F-3, No. 45-1, Chang'an West Road, Datong District, Taipei City).
(II) Target Audience: Junior and senior high school teachers (regardless of subject) interested in teaching climate change issues are encouraged to participate. Each session has a capacity of 20 people, and we plan to hold two sessions, with approximately 40 participants in total. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
IV. Important Notes for the Workshop:
(I) The workshop will be conducted in a hands-on format. Please wear comfortable clothing to facilitate participation.
(II) Participants are requested to bring their laptops and USB drives as needed for accessing relevant materials.

VI. Check-in Instructions:
(I) Check-in Date and Location: Monday, July 29, 2019, at 9:30 AM, at UPlace Shared Space (Professional Classroom, 2F-3, No. 45-1, Chang'an West Road, Datong District, Taipei City).
(II) For transportation and other related information for the Taipei session, please refer to the UPlace Shared Space website (http://uplace.strikingly.com).
VII. Meals will be provided for this workshop, but accommodation will not be. Transportation expenses are to be covered by each participant's unit. Participants are requested to check in on time as scheduled.
VIII. To conserve workshop resources, participants are required to check in on time. If you are unable to attend before the workshop begins, please notify the organizer promptly.
IX. To be environmentally friendly and protect the planet, participants are kindly requested to bring their own cutlery, water bottles, cups, or reusable bags. Disposable cutlery and plastic bags will not be provided at the workshop venue in accordance with government regulations.
