Description:

1. In accordance with the National Academy for Educational Research's letter No. 1081200825 dated June 18, 2019.

2. The National Academy for Educational Research is organizing the aforementioned workshop to promote the concept of competency-based assessment and enhance teachers' professional abilities in developing and reviewing competency-based assessments. Details are as follows:

1. Title:

(1) Second Season Competency-Based Assessment Workshop (I) Chinese Reading Literacy.

(2) Second Season Competency-Based Assessment Workshop (II) Mathematics Literacy.

(3) Second Season Competency-Based Assessment Workshop (III) Science Domain Literacy.

(4) Second Season Competency-Based Assessment Workshop (IV) English Literacy.

(5) Second Season Competency-Based Assessment Workshop (V) Social Studies Domain Literacy.

2. The workshop schedule is detailed in Attachment 1.

(2) Date: July 25, 2019.

(3) Location: 6th Floor, Qiuzhen Building, Minsheng Campus, National Taichung University of Education (No. 140 Minsheng Road, West District, Taichung City).

(4) Attendees: This workshop is an introductory competency-based assessment workshop. Attendees are teachers from public and private junior high schools in the city who have not previously attended workshops organized by the Academy in the aforementioned domains.

3. Registration: Registration is open from now until 9:00 AM on Monday, July 8, 2019. Please register online through the National Academy for Educational Research homepage / Workshop Information Registration System / Annual Activity Plans / Online Registration (URL: https://workshop.naer.edu.tw/NAWeb/Services/wFrmYearPlanAct.aspx). After your registration is approved, an acceptance notification and related information will be sent via email. Detailed registration instructions can be found in Attachment 2.
