Description:

I. In accordance with the letter No. 1080069801 dated June 20, 2019, from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (hereinafter referred to as the "Department") of the Ministry of Education.

II. To help students improve their English proficiency and enhance their awareness of cybersecurity, the Department has collaborated with Trend Micro and commissioned National Taiwan Normal University to organize the "Cool English Cybersecurity King" competition. This competition utilizes e-books for full-text reading, videos, and related prompts to assist students in self-assessment after listening and viewing. The aim is to encourage elementary and junior high school students nationwide to strengthen their English skills and improve their knowledge and concepts related to cybersecurity by utilizing the resources on the "Cool English Online English Learning Platform" website.

III. The event period is from July 15, 2019, to August 16, 2019. Participants include students in grades 3 to 6 of public and private elementary schools nationwide (Elementary School Group) and students in grades 7 to 9 of junior high schools (Junior High School Group).
