Description:

I. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter Tai Jiao Guo Bu Zi No. 1070114788 dated October 31, 2018, this Bureau's letter Tao Jiao Zhong Zi No. 1070092343 dated November 2, 2018 (received), and the "Implementation Guidelines for Public Lectures by Principals and Teachers in Taoyuan City's Elementary and Junior High Schools," the following is carried out.

II. The 12-Year Basic Education Curriculum Guidelines (hereinafter referred to as the 12-Year Curriculum Guidelines) will be implemented gradually starting from the 2019 academic year, according to different educational stages (elementary school, junior high school, and the first year of senior high school).

III. Regarding the public lecture plans for principals and teachers listed in the 12-Year Curriculum Guidelines, relevant grades, teachers, and principals implementing the 12-Year Curriculum Guidelines should comply with the regulations of the 12-Year Curriculum Guidelines. Furthermore, considering that the spirit of public lectures aligns with the "9-Year Integrated Curriculum Guidelines for Elementary and Junior High Schools," other grades are encouraged to implement public lectures with the consent of the lecturing teacher and to provide necessary resources.

IV. Attached are copies of the Ministry of Education's original letter and the "Implementation Guidelines for Public Lectures by Principals and Teachers in Taoyuan City's Elementary and Junior High Schools," each in one copy.
