Description:
I. In accordance with the resolution of the 1st preparatory meeting for the 108th academic year student music competition of this city on June 20, 108, and the "Implementation Guidelines for the 108th Academic Year National Student Music Competition".
II. To provide a stage for students in this city to showcase their musical talents and promote the advanced development of music education, the 108th academic year student music competition of this city, following past practice, has added 18 non-national competition categories, including recorder, flute, clarinet, and zither solos, totaling 109 categories (detailed regulations are provided in the attached implementation plan). The added categories are unrelated to the representative rights for this city to participate in the 108th academic year National Student Music Competition.
III. This city plans to amend the "Implementation Guidelines for the 108th Academic Year National Student Music Competition" as follows:
(I) For group events, students from music classes are not allowed to register for Group B regardless of the category. For Group A, in addition to teams composed entirely of students from music classes (basic eligibility requirements 1.2.3.4), if the team is mixed, students in Group A must constitute no less than 1/3 of the team members, or students from music classes participating in the competition must reach more than 2/3 of the students in the main major category of the event. Group B can only be composed of students from non-music classes and cannot register for Group A in group events. (This City's Plan P.2)
(II) Regarding the provision that "counties and cities may allocate the number of representative slots for Group A and Group B within the total quota of representative slots for Group A and Group B," the plan adds: For group events representing this city in the national competition, if divided into Group A and Group B, the total number of teams selected for Group A and Group B shall not exceed 6 teams. If fewer than 6 teams are selected, the selection method will be based on the highest scores from each group (Group A and Group B) regardless of region to obtain representative rights (scores below 80 are not eligible to represent the city in the national competition). (This City's Plan P.9)
(III) Choir team formation regulations: The number of participating students is limited to 10 to 65, with up to 3 additional reserve personnel. (This City's Plan P.3)
(IV) Judging criteria for marching band: Divided into overall effect (40%), music (30%), and visual (30%). (This City's Plan P.9)
