Announcements Compilation

To inform you that the Ministry of Education will organize the 108th "Ministry of Education Subsidy for International Exchange and Training Program for Disaster Prevention Education Personnel in Counties and Cities." All interested colleagues are welcome to sign up and participate.

I. In accordance with the letter of the Taoyuan City Government Education Bureau dated July 25, 108,Tao Jiao Ti Zi No. 1080064762.
II.The aforementioned plan subsidizes international exchange and training for disaster prevention education personnel. The summary is as follows:
(I) Training targets: Faculty and staff (including early childhood care and education personnel) responsible for disaster prevention at senior high schools, vocational high schools, junior high schools, elementary schools (including kindergartens) nationwide, members of disaster prevention education guidance teams in various county and city governments (including consultants hired by various counties and cities), and supervisors and personnel in charge of disaster prevention education sections in the education bureaus of various county and city governments. A total of up to 24 participants will be selected (up to 22 subsidized slots; up to 2 self-funded slots). In addition, those who have received subsidies from the Ministry of Education for international programs related to disaster prevention education personnel in 105 and 107 academic years must participate as "self-funded" first and must comply with the selection process.
(II) Training dates: Scheduled to be held from late September to early October, for a total of 6 days and 5 nights. Detailed dates and itinerary will be announced separately.
(III) Training location: Japan (Miyagi Prefecture).
(IV) Training fees: Partial subsidy will be provided, with a subsidy amount of NT$50,000 per person. The self-paid amount is approximately NT$5,000 plus NT$5,000 in collected fees, totaling NT$10,000 (including airport taxes for both locations, international fuel surcharges, tips for tour leaders and drivers, etc., based on the travel agency's quote).
III. Application period: Within 2 weeks from the date of issuance (postmark date as proof). Submit the official document from your unit (for school personnel, please copy the education administrative authority of your county or city government), the application form, and relevant attachments in one copy to Mr. Wei Po-lun, Environmental and Disaster Prevention Education Section, Department of Information and Technology Education, Ministry of Education, 13F, No. 106, Heping East Road, Section 2, Daan District, Taipei City 10636.
IV. The Ministry of Education will conduct the selection through a written review of the qualification review documents and will form a selection committee for review. Participants in the exchange and training should submit an "Overseas Report for the 108th Academic Year Ministry of Education Subsidy for Disaster Prevention Education Personnel International Exchange and Training Program" within "one month after returning to the country" as a group, and participate in sharing sessions and other meetings such as workshops, seminars, and submissions to the "Disaster Prevention Education Hanami E-Newsletter" related to the Ministry of Education's activities between 108 and 109 academic years.
