Description:
I. In accordance with the letter No. 1080083152A dated July 30, 108, from the Department of Indigenous Education, Ministry of Education (hereinafter referred to as the Department).
II. To encourage and assist elementary and secondary school teachers in the research and development of teaching materials and methods for Indigenous science education in Taiwan, and to cultivate teachers' abilities in designing multicultural teaching materials and methods, the Department has commissioned the Center for Indigenous Science Development at National Tsing Hua University to organize the aforementioned workshop.
III. Participants in this program include: full-time teachers, substitute teachers, and intern teachers currently employed in general senior high schools, vocational high schools, comprehensive high schools, and elementary and junior high schools; pre-service teachers currently enrolled in universities; teachers related to Indigenous education; Indigenous language teachers; and full-time staff of Indigenous curriculum collaboration centers in various regions.
IV. The information for the aforementioned workshop is summarized as follows:
(I) Dates and locations of each session:
1. Taipei Session: From October 1, 108 (Tuesday) to October 3, 108 (Thursday); Location: VIP Hall, 14th Floor, Howard International House / National Taiwan University Indigenous Peoples Library and Information Center.
2. Hualien Session: From October 25, 108 (Friday) to October 27, 108 (Sunday); Location: Indigenous College Building A137 Lecture Hall (I) / Dong Hwa University Library.
3. Tainan Session: From November 1, 108 (Friday) to November 3, 108 (Sunday); Location: Conference Room 3, Tainan Labor Recreation Center / National Cheng Kung University Library.
4. Taitung Session: From November 15, 108 (Friday) to November 17, 108 (Sunday); Location: Audiovisual Classroom, Taitung Living Art Museum / Taitung County Government Cultural Affairs Bureau Library.
(II) Registration Method: Online registration is available (you can register for different sessions simultaneously). Please register at the following website before the registration deadline for each session (https://forms.gle/UL3dJ9bmhWPCcBsm9). The list of admitted participants will be announced on the "Flying Squirrel Tribe" website (http://www.yabit.org.tw/index.php) and participants will be notified via email.
