The National Academy of Civil Service is adding one more session to its 108th academic year "New Century Public Governance Innovation Seminar" series on "New Knowledge in Human Resource Management." Colleagues are welcome to sign up.

Details:

1. In accordance with the National Academy of Civil Service's official letter dated August 6, 108 (National Academy Letter No. 1080600224), with one copy of the original letter (including attachments) attached.

2. This course was completed on May 22, 108. Due to repeated requests from personnel, the National Academy of Civil Service is adding another session. The relevant information is as follows:

(1) Target Audience: Civil servants who have not previously attended this course.

(2) Seminar Topic and Course Name:

1. "Practical Application of the Labor Standards Act in the Public Sector": This session will introduce recent amendments to the Labor Standards Act and their impact on practical application, supplemented by relevant case studies, to assist civil servants in correctly applying the relevant laws and regulations of the Labor Standards Act.

2. "Practical Application of the Civil Service Retirement, Separation, and Pension System": This session will introduce the relevant regulations of the Civil Service Retirement, Separation, and Pension Act and their impact on practical application, supplemented by relevant case studies, to enable civil servants to understand the retirement and pension system.

(3) Seminar Time: September 4, 108 (Wednesday), from 9:10 AM to 4:30 PM.

(4) Seminar Location: Elite Lecture Hall, Administration Building, National Academy of Civil Service (No. 576, Section 5, Zhongxiao East Road, Nangang District, Taipei City).

(5) Seminar Format: Primarily conducted as a full-day, non-residential program.

(6) Participants will be granted official leave for the seminar. If leave is taken during the seminar, the National Academy of Civil Service will send the leave record to the respective agency for registration after the seminar concludes, and learning hours will be awarded based on actual attendance.

3. Registration Notes:

(1) Registration Method: Register from now until August 23, 108, on the National Academy of Civil Service's official website (www.nacs.gov.tw). Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

(2) To avoid disrupting agency operations, please obtain approval from your agency head or unit supervisor according to your agency's internal procedures before registering.

(3) The list of participants will be announced on the National Academy of Civil Service's official website 5 days before the seminar begins. No separate notification will be issued.
