Description:
1. In accordance with the letter from National Cheng Kung University, Ref: NCKU-R-GD-1081106370, dated August 16, 2019.
2. The Vietnam Research Center at National Cheng Kung University, following the CEFR standards and in compliance with the Vietnamese language certification grading standards announced by the Ministry of Education on September 1, 2015 (So: 17/2015/TT-BGDDT), is divided into three levels and six grades: A1 (Beginner), A2 (Elementary), B1 (Intermediate), B2 (Upper-Intermediate), C1 (Advanced), and C2 (Proficient). These certifications are currently recognized by the Ministry of Education and Vietnamese studies departments at many overseas universities.
3. Since December 2017, the Vietnam Research Center at National University of Kaohsiung and since October 2019, the Southeast Asian Studies Center at National Chi Nan University have been added as co-organizing units.
4. The center will hold the "2019 Fall International Vietnamese Proficiency Test" on October 19, 2019 (Saturday). Online registration will be open from August 15 to September 19, 2019.
