(2) The performance time for each group shall be determined by each participating team, with 15 minutes as the benchmark. It shall not be less than 10 minutes and not exceed 20 minutes. The timing standard starts from the beginning of the performance (based on the host's announcement of the start); the performance time ends when all performers have completely left the stage area designated for the category. A short bell will ring once to remind teams at 19 minutes, and a long bell will ring twice at 20 minutes (with a 15-second interval between rings). Failure to end the performance will result in deductions according to the regulations. (City Guidelines P.2)
(3) Scoring criteria for traditional puppet shows:
1. Script: 20%.
2. Dialogue: 20% (Dialogue types: Type 1: Live dialogue [further divided into acting and dialogue combined, and separate actors and dialogue speakers], Type 2: Fully recorded. Judges will assess scores based on the difficulty of the performance style.)
3. Puppetry: 25%.
4. Music: 10% (Music should primarily be traditional. Types: Type 1: Live performance, Type 2: Fully recorded. Judges will assess scores based on the difficulty of the performance style.)
5. Live performance: 25% (Comprehensive consideration of performance style, maturity of performance skills, fluency, and on-site performance response, etc.) (City Guidelines P.4)
(4) Deductions: Events that affect the competition performance or exceed the performance scope of each category, if verified by the organizing committee, will result in deductions based on the severity of the situation. Serious cases may lead to disqualification. (City Guidelines P.5)
(5) Awards: Awards for personnel will be given based on their winning categories. Awards for each category will be processed according to the information provided in the registration form, and only those listed on the registration form are eligible for awards. (City Guidelines P.6)
(6) Supplementary provisions: Participants must abide by the judges' decisions. Any opinions or protests must be submitted in writing to the organizing unit by the team leader with supporting evidence; otherwise, they will not be accepted. Protests are limited to violations of competition rules, order, or participant qualifications and must be submitted within 1 hour after the announcement of the results of each competition (if protesting participant qualifications, it must be done before the participating team leaves the stage). Late submissions will not be accepted. Protests regarding judges' scores or other technical or academic matters are not permitted. (City Guidelines P.7)
