Description:
I.In response to the rapidly aging population, our country launched the "Long-Term Care Ten-Year Plan 2.0" in January 2017, aiming to expand service recipients, increase service items, and alleviate the caregiving burden on families. In November 2017, the "1966 Long-Term Care Service Hotline" (hereinafter referred to as the 1966 Hotline) was established to provide a single point of contact for the public to apply for long-term care services.
II.To enhance new immigrant families' understanding of the 1966 Long-Term Care Service Hotline and information related to applying for long-term care services, the Ministry of Health and Welfare has printed three types of the aforementioned brochures (Vietnamese, Indonesian, and Thai) for new immigrants and their families to widely understand the 1966 Hotline and long-term care information. We kindly request your assistance in disseminating and utilizing these materials to effectively convey long-term care information to new immigrant families in need.
III.Furthermore, to strengthen the public's awareness of long-term care services and application processes, the Ministry has produced diverse promotional videos and related publicity materials, which are available on the official website's Long-Term Care section (URL: https://goo.gl/AHoSbg). We also request that you inform relevant units to download and utilize these resources.
IV.Attached are copies of the official letter from the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the three types of the aforementioned brochures (Vietnamese, Indonesian, and Thai), one copy each.
