Description:
1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. TAI-JIAO-GUO-ZI-DI-1080137571A dated November 25, 108.
2. Please encourage all schools to nominate students who "can face adversity with a positive attitude, demonstrate the positive aspects of human nature, strive for excellence, stand out from the crowd, and serve as role models" to participate in the "2020 Presidential Education Award" selection.
3. The application information for this case is summarized as follows:
(1) Senior high schools and vocational high schools: Please follow the implementation plan, register online within the deadline, and mail the relevant documents directly to National Dongshih Vocational High School (Address: No. 253, Daxiang Village, Puzi City, Chiayi County, 61357) for compilation.
(2) Junior and elementary schools: Schools intending to nominate students should complete the following from now until December 31, 108 (Tuesday) (postmark as proof):
1. Online registration: Please visit the "Presidential Education Award" webpage on the National Dongshih Vocational High School website.

2. Mail hard copy materials and CD-ROM: Please download the application materials (formats as detailed in Attachments 1 to 3), relevant supporting documents, etc. (organized in order, no need to bind, just clip with a long-tail clip) in 2 copies; 1 CD-ROM, mail (deliver) to Ms. Jian Chu-ling, Director of the Guidance Section, Xingfu Elementary School, Guishan District, Taoyuan City (Address: No. 20, Lane 115, Dingxing Road, Guishan District, Taoyuan City) for preliminary review.
(3) Schools whose preliminary review is approved must send representatives to attend the "Re-evaluation Guidance Meeting." The meeting schedule will be notified separately. For further details, please refer to the preliminary review plan.
4. To encourage students' positive character and to thank the guidance teachers for their hard work, the recommended students and their mentors will be awarded as follows:
(1) Awards for recommended students:
1. Senior high school, vocational high school, and junior high school students: For students recommended by senior high schools, vocational high schools, and junior high schools who do not pass the preliminary review, the school shall award the student with one commendation. For students who pass the preliminary review but do not receive the "Presidential Education Award," the bureau will present them with a commemorative plaque for passing the preliminary review, and the school shall award the student with one minor merit. For students who pass the re-evaluation and receive the "Presidential Education Award," the school shall award the student with one major merit.
2. Elementary school students: Schools shall reward participating students with the most favorable treatment according to their authority. In addition, for students recommended by schools who pass the city's preliminary review but do not receive the "Presidential Education Award," the bureau will present them with a commemorative plaque for passing the preliminary review.
(2) Awards for guidance teachers: In accordance with the "Regulations on Performance Evaluation of Principals of Public Senior High Schools and Below," "Regulations on Performance Evaluation of Teachers of Public Senior High Schools and Below," and "Taoyuan City Municipal Schools and Kindergartens Staff Reward and Punishment Points," etc., the bureau agrees to award teachers who recommend students for preliminary review with one certificate of commendation per person. Teachers who recommend students who pass the preliminary review but do not receive the "Presidential Education Award" will be awarded one commendation per person. Teachers who guide students to pass the re-evaluation and are selected for the "Presidential Education Award" will be awarded two commendations per person to recognize their hard work. After the activity ends, schools should report the list of awardees to the bureau and handle the staff rewards according to the relevant regulations. If the rewards involve principals, personnel, or accounting staff, please submit a recommendation letter for rewards to the bureau.
