Description:

1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. 1080182738, dated December 13, 2019.

2. To implement local language teaching, enhance the professional knowledge of teachers nationwide in Hokkien and Hakka phonetics, and promote local language education, the Ministry of Education is organizing this workshop.

3. The details of the workshop are as follows:

(1) Workshop Schedule:

1. Hokkien Phonetics: From 10:00 AM on February 4, 2020 (Tuesday) to 5:20 PM on February 6, 2020 (Thursday), a total of 3 days.

2. Hakka Phonetics: From 9:10 AM on February 4, 2020 (Tuesday) to 5:20 PM on February 6, 2020 (Thursday), a total of 3 days.

(2) Workshop Location:

1. Hokkien Phonetics: National Academy for Educational Research, Taichung Campus (No. 67, Shifan St., Fengyuan Dist., Taichung City)

2. Hakka Phonetics: National Academy for Educational Research, Sanxia Main Campus (No. 2, Sanxia Rd., Sanxia Dist., New Taipei City).

(3) Registration Period: From 8:00 AM on December 23, 2019 (Monday) to 5:00 PM on December 27, 2019 (Friday), for a period of 5 days. Registration closes when full.

(4) Registration Method: Please register online through the National Academy for Educational Research website. URL: https://workshop.naer.edu.tw/NAWeb/Services/wFrmRecent.aspx.

4. Participants will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis until the quota is filled. If the number of applicants exceeds the quota, a waiting list will be maintained for subsequent admissions. If you are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, please notify the contact person at the National Academy for Educational Research via email or phone at least 3 weeks before the start of the course (by January 8, 2020 (Wednesday)). Contact phone numbers are listed in the course schedule. This will allow for timely replacement of participants and prevent wastage of resources.

5. This bureau approves participants to register for official (business) leave.
