I. The Hakka language proficiency test information is as follows:

(1) Multi-session certification Taoyuan examination area:

1. Registration period: From now until January 31st.

2. Examination date: March 21st of this year.

(2) National certification:

1. Registration period: From April 7th to May 29th of this year.

2. Examination date: One certification session will be held on September 12th and 20th of this year (you can choose one day to take the exam).

II. This bureau has established the "109th Year Taoyuan City Government Hakka Affairs Bureau's Implementation Plan for Encouraging Group Registration for Hakka Language Proficiency Certification," which subsidizes group registration fees, transportation, and meal expenses. If your unit has group registrations, please take advantage of this. However, the examination location for the subsidized fees will be the Taoyuan area examination site.

III. In accordance with the provisions of this bureau's "Key Points for Encouraging the Public to Participate in Hakka Language Proficiency Certification Subsidies," citizens registered in this city who pass the elementary level certification can apply for a reward of NT$1,000. Furthermore, according to the provisions of this government's "Key Points for Employees to Improve Hakka Language Proficiency," those who pass the elementary level certification will receive a NT$1,000 gift voucher and one commendation. This government has also established the "Taoyuan City Incentive Plan for Students of Public and Private Senior High Schools Who Pass the Native Language Proficiency Certification." Students who pass the elementary level certification will be awarded a certificate by the school and receive a bonus of NT$500 per person. However, the aforementioned reward money and gift vouchers (citizen passing bonus, employee passing gift voucher, and native language certification) cannot be applied for repeatedly. If an applicant has already passed a higher level certification, they cannot apply for the rewards under these key points with a lower level certification afterward, unless the dialects are different.
