I. This case aims to enhance the concepts, attitudes, and skills of parents, teachers, and students in the city regarding sex education (including AIDS prevention) through academic and artistic competitions, and to cultivate the core competencies of parents, teachers, and students in developing comprehensive sex education (including AIDS prevention).
II. Information regarding this case is as follows:
(I) Groups: Lower elementary school group, middle elementary school group, upper elementary school group,
junior high school group, and senior high school group.
(II) Student competition awards:
1. First Place (1 winner per group, 5 winners total): Certificate of Merit and NT$1,500 gift certificate.

2. Second Place (2 winners per group, 10 winners total): Certificate of Merit and NT$1,000 gift certificate.
3. Third Place (3 winners per group, 15 winners total): Certificate of Merit and NT$800 gift certificate.
4. Honorable Mention (5 winners per group, 25 winners total): Certificate of Merit and NT$500 gift certificate.
(III) Teacher guidance awards: According to the "Appendix Table II, Awards for Cultural and Educational Activities and Competition Activities" of the "Regulations for Commendation and Punishment of Staff and Faculty in Municipal Schools and Kindergartens at All Levels" revised by this bureau on July 24, 2018, the award standards for guiding various cultural and educational competitions are as follows: First place: 2 commendations; Second place: 1 commendation; Third place: 1 certificate of merit; Honorable Mention: 1 certificate of merit.
(IV) Submission deadline: Until March 16, 2020 (Monday) (postmark as proof).
(V) Work exhibition: Award-winning works will be exhibited at the Health Promotion School Achievement Presentation and other related activities organized by the Ministry of Education.
III. Those interested in participating should submit (mail) their works along with the original signed copyright transfer consent form (as attached) to the General Affairs Office of Xiayun Elementary School (Address: No. 14, Lane 6, Xiayun Village, Fuxing District, Taoyuan City 33643) by March 16, 2020 (Monday) (postmark as proof). Please indicate "Health Promotion Sex Education (including AIDS Prevention) Academic and Artistic Competition" on the envelope.
