I. The main points of the competition are as follows:
(I) Participants: Elementary school group (grades 4-6 students), Junior high school group (grades 7-9 students).
(II) Practical Competition Format: The competition will focus on the five major themes of environmental education: "Environmental Ethics, Sustainable Development, Climate Change, Disaster Prevention and Response, and Sustainable Use of Energy and Resources." Participants will demonstrate their ability to solve environmental problems and their potential for future promotion through practical environmental actions or the creation of projects.
(III) Review Process: The Ministry will form a review panel to select the winners. The selection process will consist of two stages: preliminary and final review. Generally, 20 groups from each of the elementary and junior high school groups will be selected for the final review (if the number of participating teams in each group exceeds 50, the top 40% of teams, up to a maximum of 40 groups, will be selected for the final review). The top 3 places in each group (1st place: 1 winner, 2nd place: 2 winners, 3rd place: 3 winners), 1 winner for the Annual Impact Award in each group, will be awarded outstanding certificates and bonuses. Additionally, several honorable mentions and merits will receive certificates.
