Description:
1. In accordance with the letter of our government, Department of Social Affairs and New Affairs, No. 1090157766, dated June 29, 109.
2. The National Immigration Agency has been outsourcing the construction of an interpreter talent database since 98, for use by relevant agencies and organizations to provide timely interpreter services for foreign nationals.
3. To deepen and expand the service functions of the aforementioned database, and to provide more real-time and accurate interpreter-related information, the system optimization function is being carried out. In addition to system revision and construction, a database APP (Android, iOS) has been newly developed, which includes:
(1) Dedicated APP for interpreter-requesting units and interpreters, real-time query and browsing, online matching notification and communication of matching status, query of matching records, and announcement reminders for various messages.
(2) Open personal applications to join the database, design satisfaction feedback and evaluation to enhance interpreter service quality, and multi-dimensional report presentation to improve efficiency and grasp the distribution of interpreters.
4. The expected benefits of the database are as follows:
(1) Real-time information updates to expand services: Consolidate language education, professional training, skills development, and health and medical resources provided by various government departments to provide real-time interpreter service information, enriching and deepening database functions.
(2) Establish a friendly interpreter environment: Strengthen the interpreter system to ensure accuracy, grasp the workplace operations of interpreters through the feedback mechanism, and improve interpreter quality.
5. If you need to find interpreter services, please send a letter to the National Immigration Agency to apply for usage rights. If you have trained personnel with relevant interpreter expertise, with the consent of the interpreter, please directly include their list in the aforementioned system. In addition, if any unit has relevant interpreter training courses in the future, you can also send the relevant information to the National Immigration Agency, and the agency will announce it in the aforementioned system for resource sharing.
6. The aforementioned system (http://idb.immigration.gov.tw) is expected to go live on July 1, 109, and the APP will be available for mobile download on the same day. Original unit users can enter the system to update their account passwords by entering their email address and the default password on the webpage; interpreters can enter their English name and default password to enter the system. Related operation introductions are placed in the system message announcement area, please refer to the instructions for use after going live. For system operation issues, please contact the contractor, Ling Wang Technology Co., Ltd.
