Description:
1. In accordance with the letter No. 1090079424 dated July 10, 2020, from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Ministry of Education.
2. To ensure that media literacy education is implemented in the curriculum and teaching of primary and secondary schools, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Ministry of Education has commissioned the National Academy for Educational Research to organize two training sessions in August 2020. The relevant information is as follows:
(1) Participants: Primary, junior high, and senior high school teachers and administrative staff nationwide who are interested in media literacy education.
(2) The training is divided into two sessions, with 50 participants per session. Participants who complete the entire session will be granted 19 hours of training credit. Teachers are requested to choose one session to register. Registration is open from now until Monday, July 27, 2020, by registering online directly on the website of the National Academy for Educational Research at: http://www.naer.edu.tw/ (Training Information > Online Registration > Primary and Secondary School Media Literacy Education Training Course).
1. First session:
(1) Dates: Monday, August 3, 2020, to Wednesday, August 5, 2020.
(2) Location: Sanxia Campus, National Academy for Educational Research (No. 2, San Shu Road, Sanxia District, New Taipei City).
2. Second session:
(1) Dates: Monday, August 10, 2020, to Wednesday, August 12, 2020.
(2) Location: Taichung Campus, National Academy for Educational Research (No. 67, Shifan Street, Fengyuan District, Taichung City).
3. This training provides meals and accommodation. Travel expenses must be borne by the individual or their unit. Your school is requested to grant official leave (business leave) to the training participants according to your authority. Participants are requested to bring their own toiletries, drinking cups, and laptops. The organizing unit will not provide these items. Please refer to the attached documents for the training plan, course schedule, and training guidelines.
