II. The relevant information for this event is as follows:
(I) Participants:
1. Schools in this city that are implementing the Disaster Prevention Campus Basic Construction Plan for 2020 (list attached) are required to participate and submit their applications.
2. Teachers and members of the disaster prevention education counseling group in this city's primary and secondary schools are encouraged to participate.
(II) Competition Rules: The number of participants for each lesson plan is limited to 4 (must be from the same school). The theme and content of the work must comply with disaster prevention education-related topics, applicable to grades 1-9 (choose any), and the teaching time must be designed for at least four class periods.
(III) Submission Deadline: From now until 4:00 PM on Friday, September 25, 2020, please submit directly to Director Xu Lianghuan of the Academic Affairs Office at Kejian Elementary School (for registered mail, the postmark will be the reference).
(IV) Awards:
1. Special Award (2 cases): Awarded with a commendation once, 0.1 points for publication credit, and NT$5,000 in manuscript fees per case.
2. Excellent Award (3 cases): Awarded with a certificate, 0.1 points for publication credit, and NT$3,750 in manuscript fees per case.
3. Good Award (5 cases): Awarded with a certificate, 0.1 points for publication credit, and NT$3,000 in manuscript fees per case.
4. For award-winning works co-authored by two or more individuals, the manuscript fees and publication credits will be divided equally among the authors. The awarding will be handled in accordance with the "Review Guidelines for Research and Publication Credits for Educational Personnel in Taoyuan City's Senior High Schools and Below."
5. Manuscript fees will be calculated based on the actual word count of the lesson plan. The amounts listed above are the maximum manuscript fees for each award category and will be handled in accordance with the "Guidelines for the Payment of Attendance and Manuscript Fees by Central Government Agencies and Schools."
