| Important information for appraisal is as follows: |
| (1) | Eligibility: |
| 1. | Sixth-grade students in public and private elementary schools in Taoyuan City for the 109th academic year. |
| 2. | For those applying for appraisal as academically gifted students (English or Math/Science): Possess gifted characteristics in academics and demonstrate outstanding performance in their specialized subject. |
| 3. | For those applying for appraisal as creatively gifted students: Possess gifted characteristics in creativity (e.g., sensitivity, fluency, flexibility, originality, precision, imagination, challenge, curiosity, adventurousness, etc.), with long-term observation by experts, teachers, or parents (observation period of at least one semester), or self-recommendation by the student. |
| (2) | Registration Period (Late submissions will not be accepted): |
| 1. | Preliminary selection: From February 19, 2021 (Friday) to February 20, 2021 (Saturday), 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. |
| 2. | Final selection: From March 19, 2021 (Friday) to March 20, 2021 (Saturday), 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. |
| (3) | Registration Location: |
| 1. | Academic aptitude: One school in each of the northern and southern districts (Northern District: Tongde Junior High School, Southern District: Zhongli Junior High School) will centrally handle registrations for both English and Math/Science giftedness. |
| 2. | Creative ability: Jingguo Junior High School. |
| (4) | Appraisal Dates: |
| 1. | English giftedness appraisal: Preliminary selection on March 6, 2021 (Saturday) morning; Final selection on April 11, 2021 (Sunday). |
| 2. | Math/Science giftedness appraisal: Preliminary selection on March 6, 2021 (Saturday) afternoon; Final selection on April 10, 2021 (Saturday). |
| 3. | Creative ability giftedness appraisal: Preliminary selection on March 7, 2021 (Sunday); Final selection on March 28, 2021 (Sunday). |
