2021 2nd & 3rd Semester Junior High School Teacher Legal Education Workshop (Beginner)

| Subject: | To inform you that the Judicial Academy will hold the "2021 Junior High School Teacher Legal Education Seminar (Beginner Level)" from July 20 to 23, 2021, and from August 3 to 6, 2021. We encourage teachers from your school to actively register and participate. Please be informed. |
| Explanation: |
| I. | In accordance with the Judicial Academy's official letter dated June 11, 2021, No. 1100000869. |
| II. | To promote judicial reform, strengthen cooperation with teachers at all levels of schools, and revitalize civics and law lesson plans, the Judicial Academy is organizing the aforementioned seminar. However, due to the severe COVID-19 pandemic, the seminar format will be adjusted according to the directives of the Central Epidemic Command Center and the Judicial Yuan. Any changes will be notified to participants via email and announced on the Judicial Academy's website. |
| III. | The seminar has a quota of 60 participants per session. Priority will be given to those who have not previously attended the beginner or advanced courses of the "Junior High School Teacher Legal Education Seminar" held by the Judicial Academy between 2017 and 2020. Those who have attended beginner or advanced courses will not be accepted. |
| IV. | The seminar will be held in Classroom 301, 3rd Floor, Judicial Academy (No. 103, Fuguó Road, Shilin District, Taipei City). Accommodation will be provided for participants from schools outside of Keelung, Taipei, and New Taipei City. |
| V. | Registration will be open from 12:30 PM on June 18, 2021, to 5:00 PM on June 28, 2021. Those who wish to register should visit the Judicial Academy's website homepage and click on "Judicial Academy Seminar Registration" to complete the registration. | VI. | The list of accepted participants will be announced on the Judicial Academy's website before July 9, 2021, and participants will be individually notified via email by the Judicial Academy. No separate official dispatch document will be sent. For pre-course communication, please ensure you provide a correct email address and contact phone number during registration. |
| VII. | We kindly request that your school grant approved leave (official or business leave) for participating teachers, with the principle of self-managed class arrangements. Additionally, for teachers attending the seminar, the Judicial Academy will issue learning hour certifications based on attendance, which will be uploaded to the National Professional Development Program for Teachers Information Network. |
