| Subject: | To inform you that the Hakka Affairs Council is organizing the "2021 Hakka Language Proficiency Basic Certification." In response to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the national registration deadline has been extended to Friday, June 25, 2021. We kindly request that you disseminate this information and encourage your subordinates (or affiliated units) to actively register and participate. Please be advised. |

| I. | Based on the letter from the Hakka Affairs Council dated June 9, 2021, reference number 11067002621. |
| II. | The "2021 Hakka Language Proficiency Basic Certification" national examination is scheduled to be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021, and Sunday, September 12, 2021, in two sessions. Registration is currently open. The original deadline was Friday, June 11, 2021. However, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the registration deadline has been extended to Friday, June 25, 2021. Please inform and encourage your subordinate units and schools to register enthusiastically. Please also post and assist in publicizing this information. |
| III. | Please refer to the "2021 Hakka Language Proficiency Basic Certification" website (https://hakka.sce.ntnu.edu.tw/hakka/) for the examination guidelines and related information. |
| IV. | Additionally, our government's Hakka Affairs Bureau has established an implementation plan to encourage group registration for the Hakka Language Proficiency Certification. Groups of 10 or more will receive subsidies for registration fees, meals, and miscellaneous expenses. Groups of 15 or more will receive additional subsidies for transportation, work expenses, and insurance. The original application deadline was Monday, June 21. In response to the extension of the registration deadline for the "2021 Hakka Language Proficiency Basic Certification" national examination, the application deadline has been extended to Friday, July 2.
