To inform you about the "110th Year Teacher Counseling and Support Services" in our city.
Explanation:
1. In accordance with Article 33, Paragraph 4 of the Teacher Act, the Taoyuan City Government Department of Education's official letter No. 1100038083 dated April 29, 110, and National Taipei University of Education's official letter No. 1102150001 dated May 7, 110.
2. To enhance the holistic growth of full-time and substitute teachers in public and private elementary, junior high, and senior high schools in our city, provide counseling and support services for teachers, and establish a teacher support system to promote and maintain their physical and mental health, this support service is planned.
3. The entrusted unit, service recipients, time, content, and methods of the "110th Year Teacher Counseling and Support Services" in our city are briefly described as follows:
(1) Entrusted Unit: National Taipei University of Education (Center for Psychological Counseling and Health Promotion Research).
(2) Service Recipients:
1. Full-time and substitute teachers in public and private elementary, junior high, and senior high schools (including kindergartens) under the jurisdiction of our city. Substitute teachers are eligible only during their period of substitution; principals and childcare workers shall apply mutatis mutandis.
2. In accordance with Article 4 of the "Key Points for the Establishment of the Ministry of Education Teacher Counseling and Support Center," teachers who fall under any of the following circumstances are not eligible for this teacher counseling and support service. The exclusion clauses are as follows:
(1) Perpetrators of campus sexual offenses confirmed by the school's Gender Equity Education Committee.
(2) Perpetrators of campus bullying incidents confirmed by the Anti-Campus Bullying Response Team.
(3) Teachers who are undergoing dismissal, non-renewal of contract, or final suspension proceedings.
(3) Service Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
(4) Service Content:
1. Plan and provide spiritual growth courses, mental health promotion, and teacher workshops (teachers can apply for teacher workshop hours).
2. Establish and maintain a teacher consultation hotline, and provide services through online counseling, case discussions, referrals, and information provision.
3. Through dialogue in individual counseling or guidance, assist teachers in self-awareness and integration, resolve teachers' psychological distress, and enhance teachers' mental health.
4. Through group counseling or workshops, help teachers achieve self-awareness and integration by discussing various issues, relieve teachers' work stress, and enhance teachers' mental health.
5. Provide professional psychological consultation and counseling to assist teachers in coping with the psychological impact of campus crises and to stabilize their physical and mental well-being.
