| 1. | The registration period for the aforementioned certification is from June 7 to August 6, 2021, and the certification date is October 2 (Saturday). For registration methods, please search for "2021 Hakka Language Proficiency Intermediate and Advanced Certification" (https://reurl.cc/a9nogD). |
| 2. | The Bureau has established incentive measures for taking the certification, with information as follows: |
| (1) | 2021 Taoyuan City Government Hakka Affairs Bureau Incentive Program for Group Registration for Hakka Language Proficiency Certification: Teams of 10 or more people registering will receive subsidies for registration fees, meals, and miscellaneous expenses. Teams of 15 or more will receive additional subsidies for transportation, work expenses, and insurance. Applications are due by August 13 (Friday). |
| (2) | 2021 Taoyuan City Hakka Language Proficiency Certification Group Registration Incentive Program: This program includes two incentive mechanisms: "Registration Numbers Competition" and "Pass Rate Competition." The highest rewards for each group are gift certificates of NT$8,000 and NT$10,000, respectively. |
| (3) | 2021 Taoyuan City Government Hakka Promotion Study Program: Units that apply to offer classes under this program may have their staff commended. Additionally, public and civil servants who attend 80% or more of the class hours may be granted lifelong learning hours. |
| (4) | Guidelines for Encouraging Public Participation in Hakka Language Proficiency Certification Subsidies: Citizens registered in Taoyuan City who obtain an intermediate Hakka language proficiency certificate will receive a NT$2,000 reward, or those who obtain an advanced Hakka language proficiency certificate will receive a NT$3,000 reward. Applicants should submit their applications to their local district office within one month of the certificate being issued. |
| (5) | Guidelines for Encouraging Employees of Affiliated Agencies, Schools, and Enterprises of the City Government to Improve Hakka Language Proficiency: City government employees who participate in the intermediate and advanced Hakka language proficiency certification in Taoyuan City may take official leave or compensatory leave. Those who pass the intermediate certification can apply for a NT$2,000 gift certificate and two commendations. Those who pass the advanced certification can apply for a NT$3,000 gift certificate and one merit citation. |
| 3. | The aforementioned rewards (citizen certificate rewards and employee gift certificates) cannot be applied for repeatedly. |
