| 1. | To enhance teachers' professional knowledge and broaden their macroscopic international perspective, the city specially rewards outstanding teachers and administrative staff in municipal schools and kindergartens to pursue full-time advanced studies and research domestically and internationally with official leave and paid leave, with the aim of cultivating outstanding educational talents for the city and benefiting all students in the city. |
| 2. | The key points of the plan are summarized as follows: |
| (1) | Eligibility for application includes currently employed full-time qualified teachers and administrative staff (referring to teachers with administrative duties and principals) within the establishment of municipal schools and kindergartens in the city, who have served the city continuously for seven years or more (including those before the change of affiliation from national institutions), and have no record of violating relevant provisions of Chapter 4 of the Teachers Act (years of service calculated up to July 31 of the application year). Additionally, during their service in the city, they must have demonstrated outstanding performance in teaching innovation, administrative innovation, student counseling, administrative services, and educational sharing. |
| (2) | Teachers may choose to pursue advanced studies on a semester or summer break basis from July 1 of the year they are selected until August 29 of the following year, and the schedule will be planned based on the necessity of the advanced studies, with a maximum duration of six months. |
| (3) | The number of recipients awarded annually is 9 teachers and 3 administrative staff (with several alternates eligible for each category). The quotas for each category may be interchanged; if the award standards are not met, the number of recipients may be less than the quota. |
| (4) | During the full-time advanced studies and research period, full salary will be paid, and years of service will be counted. Additionally, NT$30,000 will be subsidized to cover related expenses during the domestic and international advanced studies and research period (excluding travel expenses for overseas trips), and the expenditure will be reimbursed according to relevant regulations. |
| (5) | This program will be implemented from August 1, 110 (2021). Please have each school (including kindergartens) recommend outstanding teachers and submit the application form and other documents to the handling school, Qingxi Junior High School, by October 29, 110 (2021) (Friday). |
