Matters related to the registration for the 2021 Hakka Language Proficiency Intermediate and Advanced Certification

| Subject: | Regarding the registration for the "110 Hakka Language Proficiency Intermediate and Advanced Certification" commissioned by the Hakka Affairs Council and organized by National Taiwan Normal University, please encourage current teachers (including substitute teachers) to actively register and participate in the Hakka language proficiency enhancement class for teachers. Please be informed. |
| Explanation: |
| I. | In accordance with the official letter from National Taiwan Normal University dated June 15, 110 (Ref: 1101014466) and the resolution from the meeting held on June 28, 110, between the Hakka Affairs Bureau of this Municipality and this Bureau on how to promote Hakka language among Taoyuan City educators and students. |
| II. | The aforementioned certification is scheduled for October 2, 110 (Saturday). The registration period is from June 7, 110 (Monday) to August 6, 110 (Friday). |
| III. | For information regarding the registration for this matter, please visit the "Hakka Language Proficiency Intermediate and Advanced Certification" website (https://hakka.sce.ntnu.edu.tw/hakka_high). |
| IV. | To assist teachers in successfully passing the Hakka language proficiency certification and obtaining a language proficiency certificate, this Bureau is offering an enhancement class for teachers. The relevant information is as follows: |
| (1) | Registration Period: From now until August 9, 110 (Monday). |
| (2) | Registration Method: Teachers who wish to register should go to the Google Form (URL: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1PRDogTdqgisaa1nsqZElaIDkkrOGzbdbormxchIa-0I/viewform?edit_requested=true) or scan the QR Code (see attachment) to fill in the registration information. |
| (3) | Class Offerings and Schedule: |
| 1. | Teachers who wish to register should select the available time slots. After the registration deadline, a time slot will be chosen based on the session with the highest number of registrants. The list of admitted participants will be sent via email. |
| 2. | Available Time Slots (Multiple selections allowed): |
| (1) | Class A - Class Dates: August 17, 18, 19, 20, 110 (Tuesday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM). |
| (2) | Class B - Class Dates: August 17, 18, 110 (Tuesday to Wednesday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM). |
| (4) | Workshop Method: All workshops will be conducted online via "Google Meet." The meeting link and code for the workshop session will be sent to the registered teachers' email addresses before the class begins. |
| V. | Certification Incentive: Regarding teacher incentives, in accordance with the "Taoyuan City Public Senior High Schools and Kindergartens Staff Participation in Indigenous Language Proficiency Certification Incentive Plan," teachers will be awarded based on their certification level. For full-time teachers and substitute teachers who pass the Min, Hakka, or Indigenous language certification, a gift certificate of NT$1,000 will be awarded for achieving the basic or elementary level, NT$3,000 for the intermediate level, and NT$5,000 for the advanced level or higher. |
