Announcements Compilation

The Executive Yuan Gender Equality Committee is holding a live seminar and quiz event for the "APEC Women Builders of Inclusive Futures" Best Practice Handbook. Details are as described. We encourage your students to participate actively.

I. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. 1100140269A dated October 19, 110.
II. To encourage students of all genders to explore future major choices and career options, and to break through the limitations of gender stereotypes in occupations, the Executive Yuan's Gender Equality Committee is holding the aforementioned live discussion and quiz event. This aims to attract students to familiarize themselves with the engineering and construction industries and, through the sharing of role models, to further understand career choices for women in these fields.
III. The event details are as follows:
(1) Live Discussion:
1. Time: October 23 (Saturday) at 7:30 PM this year (110).
2. Topic: Cross-Disciplinary Performance: Breaking the "Copy-Paste" Life.
3. Platform: The Facebook fan page of the Foundation for Women's Rights Promotion and Development (https://www.facebook.com/events/215822487145729/).
4. An interactive quiz will be held during the live broadcast. The first person to correctly answer the question via a Facebook comment will receive a NT$1,000 gift certificate from Books.com.tw.
5. A promotional poster and agenda are attached.
(2) Quiz Event:
1. Duration: October 23 to November 10 this year.
2. Participants: Current students in universities, colleges, senior high schools, vocational high schools, and junior high schools.
3. Event Website: "Latest News" on the Gender Equality Committee of the Executive Yuan website (https://gec.ey.gov.tw/Page/E80BEF300228A809).
4. Prizes:
(1) Grand Prize (1 winner): Apple AirPods (2nd generation) Bluetooth earphones.
(2) Second Prize (5 winners): NT$2,000 e-gift card for all products on Books.com.tw.
(3) Third Prize (10 winners): NT$1,000 e-gift card for all products on Books.com.tw.
(4) Fourth Prize (10 winners): Taiwan Black Bear USB flash drive (14GB).
5. Drawing Method: Participants who score 70 or above will be entered into a computer-generated random draw. Each participant can only win one prize. If a participant wins multiple prizes, the first win will be honored.
6. Winner Announcement: Winners will be announced on November 17 this year on the Gender Equality Committee of the Executive Yuan website, the Women's League website, and the Facebook page of the Foundation for Women's Rights Promotion and Development. Winners will also be notified via email.
