110 Academic Year Gender Equality Education Curriculum Teaching Plan Call for Papers Implementation Plan

| Subject: | To inform you that the Ministry of Education's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has commissioned National Kaohsiung Normal University to organize the "110 Academic Year Gender Equality Education Curriculum Teaching Lesson Plan Call for Submissions Implementation Plan" (1 copy). Please be informed. |
| Explanation: |
| I. | Based on the letter from the Ministry of Education's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education dated November 4, 110 (2021), No. TPEOC-G-1100143780. |
| II. | The details of the aforementioned lesson plan selection are as follows: |
| (1) | Eligibility: Current teachers in public and private junior high and elementary schools (including substitute and intern teachers). Submissions can be made individually or in groups, with a maximum of 5 people per group (groups can be formed across schools or counties/cities), and each person can submit a maximum of two entries. |
| (2) | Categories: This call for submissions will select outstanding entries in four categories: Junior High Thematic, Junior High Integrated, Elementary School Thematic, and Elementary School Integrated. For each category, up to one "Special Excellence" award, up to two "Excellence" awards, up to two "Merit" awards, and up to three "Honorable Mention" awards will be selected. Awards may be withheld if entries do not meet the judging standards. |
| (3) | Lesson Plan Content: Both "thematic" and "integrated" curriculum models are acceptable. Submissions must focus on enhancing the learning outcomes of core competencies in gender equality education (integrating effective teaching, differentiated instruction, and diverse assessment) to improve gender equality curriculum and teaching. |
| (4) | Submission Deadline: From now until March 25, 111 (2022) (Friday). The postmark date will be the basis for timely submission; late submissions will not be accepted. |
| (5) | Mailing Address: Please send by registered express mail to Mr. Yeh Chun-kang, Assistant, Gender Equality Education Issues Consulting Group, Department of Education, National Kaohsiung Normal University. Address: No. 116, Heping 1st Road, Lingya District, Kaohsiung City 80201. Please mark "Lesson Plan Submission" on the envelope. |
| (6) | Notes |
| 1. | Please fill out the results report according to the project guidelines. Handwritten submissions are not accepted. Submissions that do not comply with the format will not be considered for selection. |
| 2. | After revisions are made based on the review comments, the copyright of the selected lesson plans will belong to the Ministry of Education's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Participants will be invited to the 111 (2022) Academic Year Gender Equality Education Issues Consulting Group Annual Seminar on May 27th for an award ceremony and results presentation. |
| 3. | Selected entries, after revisions based on review comments, will be compiled into a publication. Contributors whose works are included will receive an honorarium of NT$2,000 per manuscript and will be published on the CIRN platform for reference by teachers nationwide. |
