Announcement: "111 Academic Year Taoyuan City Students with Disabilities Adaptive Counseling Placement" Brochure

| I. | This is handled in accordance with the "Implementation Guidelines for the Appropriate Placement of Students with Disabilities in Senior High Schools in Taoyuan City" and the "Taoyuan Special Education School's Official Letter No. 1100009684 dated November 12, 2021." |
| II. | The target audience for the aforementioned prospectus (must meet all of the following qualifications): |
| (1) | Graduates of junior high school (or those with equivalent academic qualifications) who have never participated in appropriate counseling placement (including the original 12-year schooling placement). Equivalent academic qualifications shall be handled in accordance with the "Standards for the Recognition of Equivalent Academic Qualifications for Admission to Senior High Schools." |
| (2) | Students holding a Republic of China identification number who have been identified as qualified by the special education student identification and counseling committee of the special municipality or county (city). |
| (3) | Confirmed cases registered on the Ministry of Education's Special Education Notification Network before December 31, 2021, and the registered disability category must match the type of prospectus being applied for. |
| III. | For the 2022 academic year, the appropriate counseling placement for students with disabilities in Taoyuan City is divided into three types of prospectuses. Students can only choose one prospectus to apply for and cannot apply for multiple. Furthermore, students cannot participate in the appropriate counseling placement organized by the Ministry of Education's National and Pre-school Education Administration or other special municipalities. Violators will have their placement qualifications revoked. The placement types are as follows: |
| (1) | 2022 Academic Year Taoyuan City Special Education School Prospectus for Appropriate Counseling Placement of Students with Disabilities. |
| (2) | 2022 Academic Year Taoyuan City Prospectus for Appropriate Counseling Placement of Students with Disabilities in Intensive Special Education Classes in Senior High Schools. |
| (3) | 2022 Academic Year Taoyuan City Prospectus for Appropriate Counseling Placement of Students with Disabilities in Senior High Schools. |
| IV. | The available positions for the 2022 academic year Taoyuan City appropriate counseling placement for students with disabilities will be announced before December 30, 2021, on the website "2022 Academic Year Taoyuan City Appropriate Counseling Placement Network for Students with Disabilities" (https://tyshse.special.tyc.edu.tw). Please check the website for details. |
| V. | The important placement schedule for the aforementioned prospectus is as follows (details can be found in each prospectus): |
| (1) | Online Registration: Junior high schools in this city shall complete the online registration process from February 7 to February 25, 2022, on the "Taoyuan City Senior High School Special Education Service E-Platform" (URL: https://tyshse.special.tyc.edu.tw/special/). |
| (2) | Submission of Application Materials: |
| 1. | Junior high schools in this city shall compile the collective registration list and submit the application forms to the Taoyuan Special Education Resource Center (Taoyuan Special Education School) between March 1 and March 7, 2022. |
| 2. | For students from junior high schools outside this city who wish to apply for this placement, their schools shall mail the paper application forms via registered mail to the Senior High School Special Education Resource Center of this city between February 7 and February 25, 2022 (postmark date as proof). |
| VI. | Please ensure that your school posts this information on the homepage of the school website and strengthens publicity. Please also assist students and parents who require assistance in preparing application materials and other related matters. |
