Please be informed that the National Academy of Governance (hereinafter referred to as the Academy) will hold the first session of the 2022 Globalization English Class from March to June 2022. We welcome all civil servants from our university to sign up.

Details:
1. In accordance with the official letter from Taoyuan City Government dated February 14, 2022, Ref. No. 1110036074, and attached is a copy of the original letter (including attachments).

2. To cultivate civil servants' global governance and bilingual abilities, the Academy will hold two training sessions in 2022. The information for the first session is as follows:
(1) Topics: Five major course groups including international political and economic situations, environmental sustainable development, forward-looking technology trends, diverse society and media, and public administration and leadership.
(2) Time: March 24 to June 23, 2022 (classes will be suspended on June 2 for the Dragon Boat Festival holiday). A total of 12 classes, with a training period of 13 weeks.
(3) Target Audience: Current civil servants, regardless of rank, are welcome to apply.
(4) Training Method:
1. Conducted via Webex Meetings virtual classroom. Each class will have a recorded video playback, followed by an online Q&A session for trainees and lecturers.
(1) Course Video Playback: Each course video will be approximately 30 minutes long. A total of 12 courses will be premiered every Thursday evening from 8:00 PM to 8:30 PM in the Webex Meetings virtual classroom. After the playback, a period will be open for trainees to ask questions via comments.
(2) Online Q&A Session: After the premiere of the course, the lecturer for that course will conduct a live video session with trainees on Webex Meetings every Thursday evening from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM to review the course content and answer questions. After the interactive session, a questionnaire will be completed, and the premiere of the next course will be broadcast.
2. For effective learning, trainees are required to use the Academy's training information service website and download the Academy's APP on their mobile devices during the training period.
(5) Certificate of Completion and Hours:
1. Training Hours: Participants who attend the classes and complete the questionnaires will be awarded 2 training hours per class based on their actual attendance, for a total of 24 training hours.
2. Certificate of Completion: Trainees who accumulate training hours equivalent to at least 1/2 of the total training hours (12 hours) will be issued a certificate of completion by the Academy.

3. Registration: Interested individuals should complete the registration form on the Academy's official website (https://www.nacs.gov.tw) under "Course Registration" by Friday, March 4, 2022. The list of accepted participants will be announced on the Academy's official website before March 15 of the same year and will not be notified separately.
