The Taoyuan City Government Education Bureau, in order to estimate the number of public and civil servants retiring in 2023 and the required retirement and survivor benefits budget, requests that faculty and staff members of this school who plan to retire in 2023 register with the Human Resources Office by the deadline of March 11, 2022, and fill out the application form at the Human Resources Office by March 16.

*According to Article 21 of the Act Governing Retirement, Resignation, and Dismissal of Public School Teachers and Staff, the retirement effective date for teachers or principals, except for special reasons, shall be February 1 or August 1.
However, considering the learning and educational rights of students in all levels of schools in this city, as well as the normal operation of school affairs, teachers are requested to apply for retirement effective August 1, 2023, as a general principle.

*Public servants applying for retirement in 2023 who wish to receive a monthly pension (or a combined pension) must have a combined total of years of service and age of 87 or more, and be at least 55 years old. Educational personnel must have a combined total of 81 or more, and be at least 50 years old. However, if the faculty or staff member met the legal conditions for receiving a monthly pension before the enforcement of the Act Governing Retirement, Resignation, and Dismissal of Public School Teachers and Staff, they may choose to receive one of the retirement benefits specified in Paragraph 1 of Article 27 when retiring in accordance with Article 18, without being restricted by the age for starting to receive a monthly pension.
