"112th Filial Exemplar Award Selection and Commendation Activity"

| Subject: | To organize the city's "112th Year Filial Piety Award Selection and Commendation Event," please enthusiastically recommend participants from your unit to the city's district offices before March 15, 112. Please be informed. |
| Details: |
| 1. | In accordance with the Ministry of the Interior's letter dated January 12, 112, Tai Nei Min Zi No. 11102248531. |
| 2. | The matters related to the aforementioned selection and commendation event are as follows: |
| (1) | Eligibility of nominees: Any citizen of the Republic of China residing in Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu, regardless of gender, age, or occupation, whose filial piety meets the selection criteria and has no adverse record in the past three years. However, those who have previously received this award, or whose family has received this award for the same filial piety subject, or who have been commended by central government ministries for related filial piety deeds within the past five years, are not eligible to participate in the selection again. |
| (2) | Selection criteria: Nominees who respect their parents and elders, fulfill their filial duties, are recognized by their neighbors, have their deeds verified, and are exemplary to others may be selected as filial piety role models. |
| 1. | Classified according to their actions: |
| (1) | Long-term Care Group: Long-term dedicated care for parents and elders, without fear of hardship. |
| (2) | Resource Utilization Group: Utilizing long-term care or other social resources to care for disabled parents and elders, encouraging or actively assisting them in recovery, rehabilitation, or maintaining self-care abilities. |
| (3) | Support and Fulfillment Group: Caring for parents and elders to maintain their physical health, being considerate of their feelings, bringing them joy, and further encouraging and assisting them in self-realization. |
| (4) | Cooperative Care Group: Family members jointly caring for parents and elders, fostering and strengthening emotional bonds, and maintaining family harmony. |
| (5) | Honoring Parents and Spreading Filial Piety Group: Promoting the excellent deeds of parents and highlighting their contributions to society; or extending one's own concrete actions of caring for parents and elders to the neighborhood and community, and enthusiastically providing assistance for others to emulate. |
| 2. | If the concrete filial deeds listed in the preceding paragraph are completed jointly with family members, they may be jointly recognized as filial piety role models. |
| (3) | Submission deadline and recommendation method: |
| 1. | Before 4:00 PM on March 15, 112 (Wednesday): Recommending units should submit relevant materials to their respective district offices. |
| 2. | Before 4:00 PM on March 22, 112 (Wednesday): District offices should mail (or deliver) the paper documents of the recommended representative (one per district) after the preliminary selection to the Student Affairs Office of Ruifeng Elementary School (Address: No. 40, Lane 933, Section 2, Jieshou Road, Bade District, Taoyuan City). The postmark will be the basis for timeliness; late submissions will not be accepted. Please mark the envelope with "Taoyuan City XX District 112th Year Filial Piety Award Selection." Additionally, please send the electronic file to the email address of Director Xiao of the Student Affairs Office at Ruifeng Elementary School: tg040050@mail.rfes.tyc.edu.tw. |
| 3. | Please assist all units in widely publicizing through social media, the LINE official account, district offices, village chiefs, and social worker groups to encourage enthusiastic recommendations from all sectors. |
