In response to the heavy rainfall brought by the outer circulation of Typhoon Haikui, which has caused significant disasters in the Hualien and Taitung areas, if the spouse or lineal relatives of the school's faculty and staff reside in the Hualien and Taitung regions and fall under the circumstances stipulated in Article 13 of the Regulations for Suspension of Work and Classes due to Natural Disasters, they may submit relevant documents to the school to apply for suspension of work, assisting their relatives with post-disaster arrangements.

因應樺加沙颱風外圍環流帶來豪大雨，造成花東地區重大災情，若本校公教員工配偶或直系親屬居住花東地區有天然災害停止上班及上課作業辦法第13條規定情事，可檢具證件向本校申請停止上班登記，協助親屬善後處理。
說明：
一、依行政院人事行政總處（下稱人事總處）114年9月25日總處培字第1143027201號函辦理，並檢附原函影本1份。
二、查天然災害停止上班及上課作業辦法第13條規定：「（第1項）天然災害發生後，各機關、學校公教員工有下列情形之一者，得自行決定停止上班及上課，於事後陳報機關、學校首長：一、為清理天然災害所造成之普遍性災害。二、各機關、學校公教員工配偶、直系親屬有重大傷亡或失蹤。三、各機關、學校公教員工及其配偶、直系親屬所居住之房屋因受災倒塌或有倒塌之危險，或遭受重大損失時，為處理善後。四、災情已達停止上班及上課基準，因通訊中斷無法聯繫。五、其他因地形、交通、水電供應中斷或供應困難，影響通行、上班上課安全或有致災之虞。（第2項）機關、學校首長得在15日範圍內，視實際需要給予當事人停班（課）登記。」
