| II. | According to Articles 58 and 59 of the Public Officials Election and Recall Act, the chief administrator must be a current civil servant or teacher, the chief supervisor must be a current or former civil servant or teacher, and more than one-third of the administrators must be current civil servants or teachers. Therefore, please inform your subordinate agencies (schools) again to encourage and recommend colleagues to participate. There is no limit to the number of participants, and the election office will coordinate the assignments. |
| III. | According to the resolution of the 2nd Election Work Coordination Meeting for the 115th Local Public Officials Election of the Central Election Commission on January 21, 115, the staffing for polling stations is planned for 15.5 people (excluding supervisors), an increase of 4 administrators per polling station compared to the original plan of 11.5 people (excluding supervisors) (i.e., an increase of 1 current civil servant or teacher and 3 non-civil servants or teachers per polling station). Therefore, please ask each agency (school) to recommend 1 additional current civil servant or teacher for their already formed teams, with no limit on non-civil servants or teachers. |
| IV. | According to the letter from the Taoyuan City Election Commission, the matter of compensatory leave for election workers has been approved by the Executive Yuan for 2 days of compensatory leave. The work fees for polling station staff, for elections with 4 ballots, are as follows: chief administrator NT$3,900, chief supervisor NT$3,200, administrator NT$2,550, supervisor NT$2,300, and reserve staff NT$2,000. Please refer to the "Standards for Election Work Fees" for details. |
| V. | Attached are copies of the aforementioned letters, "Standards for Election Work Fees," "List of Polling Station Staff Allocation," blank "Registration Form for Polling Station Staff for the 115th Local Public Officials Election," and "List of Recommended Polling Station Staff from Agencies and Schools in Yangmei District," each in one copy. Please assist in filling out the staff list and send it as an electronic file (Excel) to the designated contact person's email address by September 1, 115 (Tuesday), without a formal cover letter, to facilitate subsequent election matters. |
