026 Space Year Taoyuan City Science Education Program - Science and Art Stage Play "A Century of Dreams: The Ladder to the Moon - The Legendary Stories of Goddard and Von Braun" Performance Activity

I.In accordance with this Bureau's letter of July 28, 115, No. 1150068697.
II.To promote diverse and innovative science education and to enhance the understanding of our city's teachers, students, and citizens regarding the history of space technology development, this Bureau, in conjunction with the Department of Physics at National Taiwan University and the Space Technology Research Center at the College of Science of Chung Yuan Christian University, has planned and is promoting the "2026 Space Year" highlight event. Professor Sun Wei-hsin, a distinguished professor at Chung Yuan Christian University, has written the script for the interdisciplinary science and art stage play "A Century of Dreams: The Ladder to the Moon - The Legendary Stories of Goddard and Von Braun." This event adopts a promotional model of "artistic packaging, scientific core" in the hope of inspiring students' passion and spirit of exploration for space science.
III.Information regarding the aforementioned performance is as follows:
(I)Performance Time:
1.1st Session: October 17 (Saturday) of this year (115) from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM (check-in and admission begin at 1:30 PM).
2.2nd Session: October 18 (Sunday) from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM (check-in and admission begin at 1:30 PM).
(II)Performance Venue: Taoyuan Arts Center (No. 1188, Zhongzheng Rd., Taoyuan Dist., Taoyuan City).
(III)Ticket Nature: This event is a public welfare and free event (tickets are by application, not sale, and resale is strictly prohibited).
IV.Survey Method and Reporting Procedure:
(I)Due to seating limitations at the venue for the aforementioned performance, each school is requested to distribute "Parental Participation Intent Survey Forms" based on actual needs to conduct an initial internal demand survey.
(II)After the internal participation demand survey is completed, each school shall designate a dedicated person as the unified contact window to complete the reporting of the total number of tickets requested by your school through the designated survey form link (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeTCImg-i6ZvTYr9KstmmPcVb9L8GQVLUO_BkyQGm61HUTj4w/viewform?usp=header) by September 30 (Wednesday), to facilitate the statistics of attendance and ticket planning for the aforementioned event.
(III)The results of ticket allocation and collection methods will be notified separately after the reporting deadline.
V.Each school is requested to promote this event and encourage teachers and students to participate actively. If teachers from your school are leading a group to participate, please grant them official leave as per your authority.
