Taoyuan City Government Employee Assistance Program(Employee Assistance Programs, abbreviated asEAP) :
Service recipients:Employees of this government and its subordinate agencies, schools, Fuxing District Office and representative council (including civil servants, contract employees, temporary staff, technicians, workers, drivers, security guards, sanitation team members, and survey assistants).

What is an "Employee Assistance Program (EAP)"?
Everyone has different backgrounds, living environments, and work experiences, and reacts to stress differently. When external stress exceeds an individual's coping capacity, it directly affects their physical health, leading to conditions like high blood pressure, heart disease, and insomnia. These mental and physical impacts not only reduce individual work performance but also negatively affect family atmosphere, colleague relationships, and interpersonal interactions, even impacting organizational operations and productivity.
Many developed countries have recognized these issues and established Employee Assistance Programs to provide short-term, free professional counseling services. This is a program applied in the workplace, aimed at identifying and assisting employees with personal problems that may affect their work performance, and helping organizations address issues that may impact productivity. Employees facing work challenges, family or personal problems, or career planning stress can seek assistance from the human resources department.
Services provided by the Taoyuan City Government Employee Assistance Program
1. Individual Employee Counseling
Provides professional counseling on five major issues: psychological, legal, financial, health, and management. Colleagues can apply through the hotline, E-mail, or the Taoyuan City Government EAP service window. Psychologists will provide initial treatment or referrals. All consultations are protected by privacy policies.

★Service hours:Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 7 PM (If you wish to schedule a consultation outside of these hours, you can leave a message via email, and we will call you back on the next business day).
★Individual consultations or interviews:Professional consultant services are provided via phone or in-person meetings. The meeting location will be notified separately after booking. The principle is to provide up to 5 consultations per person per year.2. Agency/Group Consultation
★Provides organizational climate analysis, focus group interviews, high-risk workplace care, crisis intervention, and support for emergency major trauma stress events.
★Agencies can submit appointment requests through the consultation hotline, email, or the Taoyuan City Government EAP service window.
