1. In response to this year (108) being the 10th anniversary of Typhoon Morakot and the 20th anniversary of the 921 Earthquake, the Ministry of Science and Technology's Global Affairs and Science Development Center (project execution: National Taiwan University) and the museum are jointly organizing this lecture. It is hoped that through the lecture, the public's awareness of disaster risk and the importance of disaster prevention science will be enhanced, and more innovative thinking will be fostered for the establishment of goals and decision-making in campus disaster prevention education.
2. The lecture invites Dr. Li Hongyuan from National Taiwan University and Dr. Chen Hongyu, Director of the National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Reduction. Both are distinguished experts who have contributed to national disaster prevention and mitigation research for many years. They will deliver keynote speeches in a focused dialogue format at this lecture. The lecture details are as follows:
(1) Lecture time: November 30, 108 (Saturday), from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
(2) National Science and Technology Museum, South Building International Lecture Hall (No. 797, Jiuru 1st Road, Sanmin District, Kaohsiung City 807).
(3) Public and civil servants attending this lecture will be granted 2 hours of environmental education learning time.
