1. Based on the implementation plan for the "Sex Education (including AIDS Prevention) Children's Book Creation Competition" of the city's Health Promotion Center's thematic schools for the 108 academic year.

2. This project aims to enhance the concepts, attitudes, and skills of sex education (including AIDS prevention) for parents, teachers, and students throughout the city through an academic competition, and to cultivate the core competencies of comprehensive sex education (including AIDS prevention) for parents, teachers, and students in the city.

3. Information regarding this project is as follows:

(1) Categories: Lower elementary school group, middle elementary school group, upper elementary school group, junior high school group, and senior high school group.

(2) Awards for participating students:

1. First Prize (1 winner per group, 5 winners in total): Certificate of Merit and a gift certificate of NT$1,500.

2. Second Prize (2 winners per group, 10 winners in total): Certificate of Merit and a gift certificate of NT$1,000.

3. Third Prize (3 winners per group, 15 winners in total): Certificate of Merit and a gift certificate of NT$800.

4. Honorable Mention (5 winners per group, 25 winners in total): Certificate of Merit and a gift certificate of NT$500.

(3) Awards for supervising teachers: According to the "Appendix 2: Awards for Cultural and Educational Activities and Competition Activities" of the "Guidelines for Commendation and Punishment of Faculty and Staff in Municipal Schools and Kindergartens" revised by this bureau on July 24, 107, the award standards for guiding various cultural and educational competitions are as follows: First Prize: 2 commendations; Second Prize: 1 commendation; Third Prize: 1 certificate of merit; Honorable Mention: 1 certificate of merit.

(4) Submission Period: From February 11, 109 (Tuesday) to March 16, 109 (Monday) (postmark date is the basis).

(5) Exhibition of Works: Award-winning works will be exhibited at the Health Promotion School Achievement Presentation and other related activities organized by the Ministry of Education.

4. It is recommended that schools plan to include this activity in their winter break assignments. Those who wish to participate should submit or mail their works along with the original signed copyright transfer consent form (as attached) to the General Affairs Office of Xiayun Elementary School (Address: No. 14, Lane 6, Xiayun Village, Fuxing District, Taoyuan City, 33643) by March 16, 109 (Monday) (postmark date is the basis).
