| 一、 | Based on the letter of the Taoyuan City Government's Department of Government Ethics dated June 19, 112 (2023), Document No. 1120003993. |
| 二、 | During the Dragon Boat Festival period of this year (112th year of the Republic of China, 2023), please strengthen the promotion of the "Taoyuan City Government Employee Integrity and Ethics Regulations" (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations"). When public servants receive gifts from individuals with whom they have a conflict of interest related to their duties, they shall refuse or return the gift, and report to their superior and notify the Department of Government Ethics, unless the circumstances fall under the exceptions in Article 4 of the Regulations. When invited to banquets or social events by individuals with whom they have a conflict of interest related to their duties, they shall not attend, unless the circumstances fall under the exceptions in Article 7, Paragraph 1 of the Regulations. In exceptional cases, such as official events or public activities held for traditional festivals, attendance is permitted only after reporting to the superior and notifying the Department of Government Ethics in accordance with Article 10. For matters involving requests or recommendations, the provisions of Article 11 of the Regulations shall also be implemented by reporting to the superior and notifying the Department of Government Ethics, in order to maintain public trust in the impartial performance of duties by public servants. |
| 三、 | To deepen colleagues' understanding of integrity and ethics regulations, please encourage the use of teaching resources such as the "e-Learning Public Service Garden+ Learning Platform" (https://elearn.hrd.gov.tw/mooc/index.php) provided by the Civil Service Development Institute of the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration, Executive Yuan, to learn relevant courses on integrity and ethics. |
