Regarding the "Implementation Plan for Rewarding Excellent Teachers and Administrative Staff in Municipal Schools and Kindergartens for Full-time Domestic and Overseas Study and Research in the 115th Year of the Republic of China," we welcome excellent teachers from our school to actively submit proposals. Please refer to the details below.

Details:
1. The Taoyuan City Government Department of Education, in order to enhance teachers' professional knowledge and broaden their macroscopic international perspective, will continue to implement the aforementioned plan and encourage teachers' professional development, aiming to cultivate excellent educational talents for the benefit of all students in the city.

2. The key points of this plan are summarized as follows:
(1) Eligibility and Categories for Application:
1. Eligibility: Currently employed full-time qualified teachers and administrative staff (defined as teachers concurrently holding administrative positions and principals) in municipal schools and kindergartens. Applicants must have served in Taoyuan City for at least seven years (inclusive) or accumulated eight years of service within the last ten years, and have served in their current school for at least two years (including those before the change of affiliation from national institutions). Furthermore, they must not have violated any provisions of Chapter 4 of the Teachers' Act or related regulations (years of service are calculated up to July 31st of the application year).

2. Application Categories:
(1) General Teacher and Administrative Staff Category: Applicants who have demonstrated outstanding performance in teaching excellence, administrative innovation, student counseling, administrative service, and educational sharing during their service period.
(2) Bilingual Teacher Category: Applicants with at least two years of experience in bilingual teaching in Taoyuan City schools and outstanding achievements.

(2) Study Schedule and Number of Awards:
1. Study Schedule: From July 1, 115th year of the Republic of China to August 27, 116th year of the Republic of China. Study can be undertaken on a semester or summer vacation basis, with the schedule planned according to the necessity of the study, but not exceeding six months in duration.
2. Number of Awards: Annually, the General Teacher and Administrative Staff Category will award 6 teachers and 3 administrative staff, while the Bilingual Category will award 3 teachers (reserve candidates may be selected for all categories). The quotas for each category may be interchanged. If the award standards are not met, the number of awardees may be less than the allocated number or more than the allocated number.

(3) Funding: The Taoyuan City Government Department of Education will subsidize full-time teachers and administrative staff selected for full-time study and research with an additional NT$35,000. This subsidy is intended to cover related expenses during the domestic and overseas study and research period, in addition to their regular salary. The expenditure will be reimbursed based on relevant regulations.

(4) Matters to Note:
1. For awardees from the 115th year of the Republic of China onwards who undertake overseas study, proof of entry and exit records must be submitted to facilitate the Taoyuan City Government Department of Education's review of whether the teacher's overseas study schedule aligns with the original plan. Additionally, to accommodate flight schedules, the entry and exit times for new awardees may be flexibly adjusted within two weeks before or after the start of the program.
2. Upon completion of the study and research period, a report on the research findings must be submitted within two months. For overseas study, proof of entry and exit dates (e.g., copy of electronic air tickets) must be attached. If there are valid reasons, an extension of one month for submission may be granted upon approval from the Taoyuan City Government Department of Education, with a maximum of one extension.
3. If it is verified during the study and research period that the awardee's research location, purpose, or content deviates from the approved plan, the Taoyuan City Government Department of Education may require the return of the salary and all subsidies received during the study and research period.
4. Awardees are required to conduct teaching sharing activities related to their research findings (2 sessions for semester study, 1 session for summer vacation study). One session can be held at their original school or one session can be an invited external sharing session (online workshops are also acceptable and can be combined with project briefing sessions). Relevant explanatory materials and supporting photos should be submitted, and upon completion, reported to the Taoyuan City Government Department of Education for record. Bilingual teachers may opt to produce at least one lesson plan and teaching video, and cooperate with the Taoyuan City English Teaching Resource Center for revision and upload to the dedicated section, as a substitute for one teaching sharing activity. This should be submitted along with the research report to the Department.

3. We welcome excellent teachers from our school to apply. Please submit the application form and other relevant documents to the organizing school, Qingxi Junior High School, by November 28, 114th year of the Republic of China (Friday).
